A fascinating account of a British woman's epic journey cycling round the globe fron East to West Using historical routes as her inspiration Anne Mustoe followed the ancient Roman roads to. This fascinating book tells of Anne Mustoes reasons and results of her epic cycling activities over the years She explains some of the difficulties and the rewards of travelling alone with her bicycle The people she meets and the countries she visited I think some of her adventures would be classed as foolhardy today but through them all she kept to her plans and cycled everywhere she could Some places like China she had many obstacles placed in her way but she persevered throughout with tenacity and a will to see the world I found this book just as enjoyable as her other books and would recommend it to anyone who travels or would like to have travelled or just likes to read an interesting and engaging story

I found this book to be a bit dry reading not enough pictures and she gets bogged down in boring details. I do admire the author for bicycling, for the most part, on her own, and in dealing with the people of the land, with
