    I hated this book. I could not believe the same author wrote the kitchen maid. In the kitchen maid she had the character grow and make better and better decisions as she matured. Emily was supposedly beautiful and looked like an angel and apparently that is all that she needed according to the author. As a reader I demand. Emily did not mature, did not learn did not rely on her experience, did not grow. she

    When you have finished this book read the sequal Going Home you will love this book too.
