Caroline Foran is not here to “cure” your anxiety When crippling panic attacks upended her job her health and her life she tried everything from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to acupuncture and yoga to medication She found that there’s no such thing as a stre. The first pages of the book already tells you what you will get from the book To me that is great It sets your expectationsThe introduction explains how the book is divided so you also know what to expect from each part and how which one will address your problemI found the book to be very straightforward It puts together her own experience and empathy as well as scientific information It helps you understand anxiety better if you are not going through it but it is also very relatable if you are going through itGreat read for people suffering through it and also a great read if you know someone that is going through it Even though in my opinion anxiety is very particular to everyone and their struggles reading this book and reading through the authors struggles can give you perspective to fight your own battle or to be empathic to those around you that are struggling It looks like everything in this book was made to make it easier for you to keep getting back to it as you need it At the end of every chapter there is a summary so you can wrap up what you ve read and also it makes it easier to find something specific later onOverall great tips that do sound obvious but for people in the amist of anxiety it doesn t sound that obvious So it is good to see something obvious written and them you can take action on this It has practical and well explained exercises There are lots of recommendations and resources throughout the book While the author goes into detail about each topic she also offers you to read on which you can check depending if that applies to you or notHave suffered and still am from anxiety this book is great It gives me ideas that I ve never thought before and the author also gives here experience for each one so you also know how it workswhat to expectI definitely recommend this book and will buy a copy to always have it handyThank you the author and editor for sending me this free copy in exchange of my honest opinion
