In Idun the saga combining historical fiction and Norse mythology continues Idun is in this story the daughter of Fr ya and Thor and given the name of the book you would think it would be about her But the author never really builds her up as a character and instead concentrates on her parents which character traits are growing much worse that in the first book Idun hasn t inherited any of her mother s gifts meaning that she hasn t any superstitious powers and is basically just a normal insecure person I wish the author would have evolved her character so that we as readers actually could feel a connection with her but she was only a side character through the whole book Of course she gets a daughter in the end of book to bring the family inheritance on and the next book is supposed to be about her I have to wait until the library reopens to get it but I think I might continue the series just to see where the story goes Devoted to Drew ya and Thor and given the name of the book

OMG this book For me this was a real emotionell rolercoaster At times I was furious dissapointed happy and in the end I even managed to cry my eyes out It was really good A story about the norse gods and goddesses before they became the gods and godesses we know today The story of their life of love anger sadness fighting and losingThe storyline of this book was very good and as said before it got me very emotionall than once Mostly it was of anger because of the abuse against women and children and the sexist way they were speaking to each other I really liked the character Idun how she had every thing againsted her and still managed to see to good in everyone and everything I was a bit annoyed when she found out who her husband really was but I know the situation a bit myself and know that it s not so easy when you are by yourself Freja och Thor I had a hard time getting around to in the beginning Both of them just felt heartless and cold just doing what they needed to get what they wanted and not caring who got in their wayAnother aspect I really enjoey was the implementation of female x female romance It wasn t a very big part of the story but it was there and it was reallt sweetTo sum this up Idun The story of Valhalla gets 455 from me I really liked it and if you like norse mythology and can cope with the emotionall rolercoaster then it might be for you Be aware of the foul language though and the sexist way they tend to speak to each other in The Prince of Pleasure (The Wilde Brothers, you are by Hers to Protect yourself Freja och Thor I had a hard time getting around to in the beginning Both of them just felt heartless and cold just doing what they needed to get what they wanted and not caring who got in their wayAnother aspect I really enjoey was the implementation of female x female romance It wasn t a very big part of the story but it was there and it was reallt sweetTo sum this up Idun The story of Valhalla gets 455 from me I really liked it and if Her Small-Town Hero you like norse mythology and can cope with the emotionall rolercoaster then it might be for Red Tail (Travis Trilogy you Be aware of the foul language though and the sexist way they tend to speak to each other in
